Heels!

I love heels. I love the clicks they make when you walk around. I love the little 2 inches they give. I love that they come is the most exquisite of colours and designs. I love the curve from the toe to the heel. I could go for days just looking at stilettos!

Also, I usually don't wear heels. I have been gifted with a tall frame. So firstly, the necessity is lacking. I love wearing them. But secondly, it feels pretty odd when you are towering above average height especially on campus.

Just yesterday, I was working on something when this whole ideas for shoes took a walk into my head. I still remember vividly each one and each pattern. I cant wait to make sketches of the ideas (as soon as my midterms are done!) Its like how Harry Potter walked into Rowling's head. Swish, one swift entry. And suddenly I went into an imaginary realm where I was designing exquisite shoes for the world and becoming the Coco of shoes. I was even having my own fashion show!

Dhanya's shoes sounds pretty lame. I should cook up a brand name. That, I should.

Well, for now the designs will be out in a couple of days. Watch out!
(Thats a John Galliano right there! Sigh)

I want a yellow typewriter

I like the beatles.

Listening to them makes me realize how important it is to remember the sound of music, blue sky, green sea, little children who laugh, banker on a motorbike, strawberry fields, clinging wives, birds that flew, lonely people, girls named jude, the sun that comes, girls that have tickets to a ride, girls who love, and how we need eight days a week.

I was listening to yellow submarine a while back. And I think I know what I want for my birthday. A yellow typewriter. As yellow as the sun. I am sitting here typing on a black keyboard with hardly any colour or life. It would light up my life. By a far-away galaxy of stars. Right inside my room.

I want a yellow typewriter.
As yellow as mustard sauce.
As yellow as the little girl's frock.
As yellow as the sun.

And a new semester..

I am back after a really long time. I really should read up on how time flies. A friend was trying to explain how it is fourth dimension. I should. Maybe I might understand its importance more. Even now, I am scheduled to be studying, while I sit typing away gibberish.

The year seems promising, I have enough CCA work lined up. I have planned to work hard from week two (notice PLANNED, ah yes, I am still the same  -.- ). I even tried auditioning for NUStage, lol, serious mistake I felt! Nevertheless, I tried atleast.

Okay, seriously, I am not sure what got into my mind, and why I am writing with SO many punctuations. Arghh. Time to go, bye.

The essence of life

The first "proper" successful cooking experience since I moved out of home! Yes, Toast and Omelets don't count and there have been many sad sad Dosa experiences before.

Yummy tomato sauce, onion, cheese, corn, and macaroni! Yuuum, yummm, yumm...

Movie love

Okay sorry, my dear Lecture notes,
They are more exciting,
They want me,
And you?

Its the other way round with you,
I want you.
Till you come to me,
I stay with them.

and haha, I SUCK at poems.

The New Life..

Its pretty entrancing. the new life. How I landed up here, away from all those I care for, away from all those that care for me, away from the things I am used to. Never during those crazy dreams I made up of my future, did I imagine changes THIS new.

I landed in a daze. I still remember sitting in that Car and staring into space, registering very little around me. I still could not believe anything. Rather I dint understand I guess. Why I chose to come here, for whom, for what. Many questions. Many many. Some are still staying there, like a huge Lorry blocking the path of small cars. Disorder to order, Bikes and occasional bullock carts to nothing but cars. Sad old buildings to new VERY tall ones. Indian to Chinese. Too many things, all at once. I knew no one, standing on the road that seemed to lead to nowhere, holding my dads hand, like those small girls in TV commercials (back home). The atmosphere smelt different.

With all those questions and more I went on. I let go of his hand. And let him go. He dint want to. I cried. A LOT.

Yet, I stand having found many darlings. Oh SO many. Many who landed here just like me. They make my day, everyday. They teach me how to be a better person. They help me grow up. I understand the troubles amma and appa go through. Some of them. I make my bread. I wash my clothes. I count my money. I clean my room. I perk myself up. I am my own. I feel better. in many ways. Confident. Maybe there is a meaning for all this.

Nevertheless, the dirty doubts keep cropping up, now and then. About this and that. And about him. Stopping my routine, making me pause and look dumb. I will learn to ignore them. Hopefully. And learn to trust. In things and people. In life.

Blah.
